Khalisa and Charles seamlessly merged their lives and cultures in a simply royal, non-traditional Muslim wedding ceremony. The couple who met through mutual friends in college, immediately hit it off. From Texas to Malaysia their multicultural ceremony, simply shows how love often transcends culture. Nestled in the garden of Hotel Granduca, in Houston, Texas, this wedding is the first of the couples’ two ceremonies. Khalisa’s robust red and white bouquet set the tone for the color palette of the decor. With a touch of gold detail from the canopy draped in maroon tapestry, to the white cake dripping with gold and arranged with red and soft pink roses, this luxurious outdoor ceremony perfectly encapsulated the beauty of the lush green garden.
