Brittany and Bobby wanted to create a magical and romantic, yet chic and modern wedding weekend in Boston. It was a beautiful combination of modern and romantic, or “MoRo” as their planners from Whim Events coined it. The young couple had an amazing time pulling together all the gorgeous details. Brittany grew up on a farm in Texas and she wanted to recreate a “garden at the State Room” ambiance. She and her planners kept the design soft, and full of greenery and florals to balance out the blank slate. While keeping some elements girly and monogrammed, Brittany was able to incorporate a ton of romantic details into the day while keeping it sleek. Heavily inspired by the Distant Drum Rose from Grace Rose Farms, this flower played a key role in the color scheme. With soft tones of blush, dusty pink, mauve, and coral, the floral palette kept things looking chic, yet romantic and delicate. Rustic wood tables, modern gray chairs, marble chargers, gold flatware, and pottery style china, were all complemented by blush and rust napkins. The stationery experts at Coral Pheasant created a stunning letterpress paper suite, complete with their own signature B/B monogram. After the evening ceremony held at Arlington Street Church, guests ascended a luxurious staircase of greenery and florals to enter an intentionally designed cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed a “Winston 75” named after the couples cute pup or a “19th Hole” for Bobby’s love of golf, then dined on Southern Comfort food such as ribs, chicken and biscuits, and strawberry shortcake. Everyone danced the night away in custom flower crowns under bistro lights and the glow of the cityscape.
