In the heart of downtown Chicago, Kit and Chris tied the knot in a colorful celebration at the Harris Theater Rooftop Terrace in Millennium Park. This venue provided the perfect combination of the downtown Chicago cityscape and the intimate outdoor wedding the couple dreamed of. With a color palette based off of the bridesmaids' dresses, Megan Estrada of North Shore Weddings and Events designed the space with candles, ornate pottery, and florals in a pale blue and green, with interspersed turquoise, yellow, and cream. The first and most important quality the couple decided on when planning their wedding was 'fun!' Their goal was brought to life with the Entertaining Company's mini tacos and margaritas and Amy Beck's three tiered, water colored chocolate cake with a peanut butter cream frosting. The Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra brought everyone to the dance floor, creating a relaxed, enjoyable environment before guests set off to enjoy the bright city lights.
