Described by the bride as “organic rustic industrial” with touches of white, ivory, and wood, Sarah and Andy’s black tie wedding the perfect balance of modern and whimsical. After a refreshing first look at the Garfield Park Conservatory, the newlyweds posed for their portraits beneath some tremendous tropical plants. Over 150 guests traveled to The Joinery Chicago to attend their special day and watch the couple share their vows, then plant and water them.
The Joinery was transformed into the reception space with long wooden tables decorated with glistening pillar candles, white and ivory florals, and greenery scattered throughout. Menus were set at each place setting surrounded by charming copper accents, including the silverware and geometric table numbers. After a quick outfit change for the bride, the newlyweds cut into the cake and shared a romantic first dance as husband and wife.
