Josh and Gia wanted the feel of a destination wedding but also wanted somewhere that was easy for their friends and family to travel to. After their first site visit to Hotel del Coronado they knew it was the perfect location to tie the knot. Luscious white blooms and bright greenery covered the ceremony space including custom floral arches from Blush Botanicals. Not only did they look stunning on the fresh Windsor Lawn, but there was a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean behind them.
The wedding ceremony and reception were both planned around the idea of an ethereal Italian garden wedding and Thomas Bui went above and beyond to bring that vision to life! As you walked into the grand ballroom for the reception there was greenery draping from the chandeliers, centerpieces designed with cream and ivory garden blooms, and huge drapes hung throughout the room for a more intimate feel.
After the newlyweds performed a choreographed waltz for their first dance, they dug into their beautiful five tier cake created by Michele Coulon. However, the cake wasn't only heavenly to look at with it's frosted horizontal texture and floral accents, but each tier consisted of a different flavor cake which had guests raving! From there, guests were surprised with an incredible fireworks display on the beach—a big grand finale to Josh and Gia's magical day!
