Events by Sorrell and their talented team of vendors gathered in Harrisville, NH at the beautiful Aldworth Manor to shoot this multi-cultural wedding scene invoking various Hindu traditions. Decorated with flourishing pops of color, the floral installation was the focal point of the ceremony featuring an ombré hanging carnation curtain suspended from a white garden arbor in the manor's sun room.
The floral design for the tablescape included a lush peony centerpiece and two fern bud vases. The rich deep tones of the peonies and ranunculus provided depth and sophistication to the color palette. Meanwhile, the accent flowers of delphinium, garden roses, and carnations provided bursts of spring color bringing a touch of natural whimsy. Tone on tone minimalism was the inspiration for the table design. Simple clean lines to draw attention to the florals and the menus.
Hilltop Kitchen provided the Indian inspired food. The appetizers included crispy curried chick peas, flaky samosas, and turmeric-glazed tofu. This was followed by a plate of lemon-tandoori chicken on a bed of basmati rice. The cake design was inspired by the hints of blue in the Bride's lehenga while staying in line with the tone on tone style.
