This magnificent collection of photos by Jen Wojcik Photography highlights Cal-a-Vie's 400-year-old Chapel. The building, once belonging to The Convent of the Carmelites, was imported from Dijon, France, and is as rich in history as it is in beauty. Nestled 40 miles north of San Diego on the lush grounds of the Health Spa, nestled 40 miles north of San Diego, the chapel is surrounded by a vast view of the valley's gardens, lavender fields and vineyards, and brings an inspirational romance to the dream wedding.
The enchanting venue inspired the soft, natural design and color scheme throughout. Antique chandeliers, wooden pews and stained glass windows provide a great backdrop to the ceremony, simply adorned with greenery and pillar candles. Outside, an intimate sweetheart table is set in a metal pavilion among the lily ponds, dressed with an olive branch and gold candlestick holders, and vintage dishes. French tufted chairs add a chic touch under the crystal chandelier. The result is a dream of rustic French country elegance.
