Elaine and Roy's destination wedding at Kualoa Ranch on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu was a quintessential intimate island gathering. Destination wedding planner, Diana Caro-Salvador of Lucia Events, alongside Michelle Maeda of Flowergirls Hawaii and Naomi Lee of Les Saisons, designed an event that incorporated exotic details with rich jewel tones of ruby and amethyst.

A gorgeous ceremony arch decorated with lush arrangements of orchid blooms and curly willow branches set the tone for the couple's intimate vow exchange near the ranch's historic Hawaiian fishpond. On a lawn overlooking the waterfront, a single reception table awaited guests under a draped wooden canopy, which featured a stunning installment of phalaenopsis orchids. In keeping with this tropical theme, the dining table was set with tropical florals, and place settings were adorned with brightly colored napkins held in wooden napkin rings, each holding a delicate fiddlehead fern and mokara orchid. Exotic and refreshing island-inspired cocktails served in coconut cups greeted guests to the reception, who later toasted the newlyweds with wild hibiscus infused champagne as they dined on island inspired fare. This incredibly romantic day was captured by Kai Photo.
