The Darlington House, tucked away in the seaside village of La Jolla, California, is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. Its historical value brings a touch of unmatched elegance to any celebration, while it's picturesque, private outdoor space allows couples to dance under the stars.
Erika and Jon's wedding celebrates all that is lovely about San Diego weddings with a relaxed elegance, pops of color and touch of sophistication. Erika walked down the aisle to the ceremony set at the estate's Egyptian patio, and set the tone in a gorgeous satin gown and blue suede shoes, with soft blonde curls, and a bouquet of dahlias in varied hues with roses and succulents. Bridesmaids wore different blue dresses and held mix-and-match bouquets, while the groom and groomsmen wore shades of grey and khaki suits. Shades of blue and beige make up the canvas for the alfresco reception in the Rose Garden, with modern patterns of damask, coral and chevron adorning simply set tables.
