Catherine & Michael are just as sweet as can be. Their taste is classic but they wanted to have a unique, memorable party with a little "wow" factor. We took Catherine's love of greens and golds to the next level with a 50 foot gold sequin backdrop, gold satin linens, emerald green satin napkins on gold charger plates with garlands of greens. The white florals spilling down the tables took the design over the top. The venue, the Canadian Museum of Nature, is a very cold, industrial space and it's a challenge to fill, but with a little bit of creative draping, a dramatic display and using gold, a warm tone (you don't often see gold as a primary colour, mostly just an accent!) it really made for a jaw-dropping, unique reception. It looked like a contemporary fairytale!
