There is a place tucked away in California where you can be transported to old world Europe. The 200 private acres of rolling hills and vineyard, stone buildings, and 400 year old Chapel at Cal a Vie is truly magical. The team behind this styled shoot used deep reds, rustic wood, lots of brass, marble, and organic elements in this romantic Italian wedding inspiration. It's a magical daydream come to life.
"Deep reds, rustic wood, lots of brass, marble, and organic elements played a major role in bringing to life this romantic Italian inspired wedding that of course would not be an Italian affair without amazing food and drink to compliment the stunning tablescape. Cal-a-Vie’s own chef prepared an assorted Crostini bar full of rustic ingredients paired with a Limoncello Thyme & Tuscan Pear cocktails. For the table scape we wanted everything to feel rich, but organic. The plant dyed table runner and arrangements filled with fresh fruit, berries and herbs perfectly complimented the antique brass and vintage glassware, and The wood burned menus with distressed gold leaf detailing were inspired by many of the weathered stone walls that are found within the streets of old Italian towns. We created an intimate and lush sweetheart table with a special treat for the bride and Groom, a fresh berry pizzette as a perfect start to a rustic feast. As if the gorgeous Italian marble inspired cake wasn’t enough! We were so inspired by our real life couple and also wedding photographers, and their European look. We wanted to give them a timeless look with a modern twist. Her soft blush gown and veil and his high fashion maroon suit were a stunning combination. And what Tuscan inspired wedding would be complete without a vintage Italian scooter to ride off into the vineyards? One of my favorite details!" - Tres Chic Affairs
