Celebrating Customer Service Week 2020

Aisle Planner CS Team
October 06, 2020

This year is more important than ever to celebrate Customer Service Week, which begins on October 5th, 2020. "National Customer Service Week activities have far-reaching effects in October and throughout the year. There are two main purposes of National Customer Service Week—it lets organizations recognize the job that their customer service professionals do 52 weeks a year and it gets the message across a wide range of business, government, and industry that customer service is a critical component in running a business."

Based in San Diego, Temecula, Atlanta, GA, and St. Petersburg, FL, our incredible Customer Success team is the reason we're able to do what we do—build the most powerful platform of digital marketing, sales, and planning and project management features—and strengthen our community of Aisle Planners around the world. Not only are they there for you 24/7 to answer any questions you have, but they're there for you to help you build a better business and streamline your workflow.

To honor our wonderful Customer Success team members, we wanted to formally introduce you to the women who are always there for you!

About Meghan

I've been working at Aisle Planner for five and a half years and have engaged with hundreds (if not thousands) of our users. I know pretty much every detail about the platform, as well as a lot of creative ways it can be customized. I absolutely love helping people become more successful and balanced in their lives. Before Aisle Planner, I ran a non-profit and organized numerous community-building and fundraising events. I live with my two teenagers and a cat, and my favorite things to do when I'm not working are hiking, backpacking, cooking, yoga, meditation, spending time with family and friends, tennis, reading, volunteering, and going to concerts and festivals!

Fun Facts about Meghan

  • I'm totally ambidextrous and can write forward and backward with either hand (but I normally write with my left hand).
  • I lived in Hong Kong for a year and studied both Mandarin and Cantonese, although I can't do much more than order dim sum now.
  • I didn't grow up watching TV and I still don't watch anything, but I read a lot.

I love receiving positive feedback and appreciation from our users—it never gets old! I remember after we released the layouts tool we were inundated with all kinds of happy messages from users who were thrilled! We pasted them all together and forwarded them around to the entire team so everyone could celebrate!

About Cara

I'm a mom of three, lover of sports, wedding planner, and now part of the AP family! I thrive on organization, lists, and an occasional beach day to reset. I went to school for pretty much everything except wedding planning, but finally found my love in this amazing industry. All things weddings and events are where I'm meant to be!

Fun Facts About Cara

  • I love volunteering and have been an active board member for a couple of different local baseball organizations!
  • I despise cheese, but pizza is my favorite food...go figure!
  • I met my husband when I was 14 (and now my sons go to the very high school where we met).

When long-time subscribers find a tool they didn't even know existed that'll be a major game-changer or time saver. I live for those moments!

  • I can yodel.
  • I'm an avid cyclist.

During a training session, a brand new AP subscriber once cried at the end of our call because she was so happy to finally have a software she could use and an actual live person she could talk to when she had questions. Made my day!

About Alexa

I was born and raised in Florida and still live in the beautiful Sunshine State today. I've had a passion for event planning ever since I was little and love being right in the center of it all on a daily basis!

Fun Facts about Alexa

  • I saw snow for the first time last Thanksgiving!
  • I'm coffee obsessed. Coffee flavored anything and I'm here for it!
  • My first time on an airplane was when I was 19.

There are so many wonderful moments, but if I had to choose one (even though it's still technically more than one), it would be the positive feedback we got regarding the Refresh Series. We've gotten so much continuous love for these weekly Zoom chats and how helpful our users find them. It's great getting to interact with everyone weekly and to help expand their knowledge of the platform with a variety of topics!
